Hello, my name is Susannah and I’ve been cat sitting with Katie’s Kitty since 2024, covering the Upper East Side area. I am an aspiring professional opera singer originally from London, United Kingdom. Cat sitting is a highly enjoyable and rewarding venture that I have had the opportunity to pursue alongside my musical career since moving to New York City two years ago.

My family always had cats when I was growing up, so I have a lifetime of experience interacting with and caring for cats. More recently I fostered a rescue cat from the ASPCA for several months, which was an extremely rewarding experience. My work as a cat sitter gives me the opportunity to spend time with lots of cute cats, all of whom have such unique personalities. I consider myself something of a ‘cat whisperer’ because a lot of the cats I look after just love to gravitate towards my lap and curl up there purring! I am great at making cats comfortable in my presence, and have been able to tempt even the most timid and wary kitties to approach me (often with the help of Churu treats of course!)
