Hello, my name is Andrea Kutsenkow.

I have a lifetime of experience with animals. My love of animals likely stems from growing up in rural Pennsylvania near the Ohio and West Virginia border where I cared for cats, dogs, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish.

I moved away from Pennsylvania in late 2011 to attend graduate school in Manhattan, to study art history and archives. I now work full-time as an archivist for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, a short commute from my one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Astoria, Queens.

While I don’t have any pets of my own here in NY, I’ve enjoyed volunteering for Rabbit Rescue and Rehab and pet sitting for both friends and colleagues. Katie’s Kitty is yet another amazing opportunity for me to continue the work that I love.

Choosing the right sitter can be challenging. My goal is to put your mind at ease while you’re out of town by providing exceptional care for your pets and daily updates of their activities. Let me know if my knowledge and my genuine love of animals can be of use to you. I work as a cat sitter and boarder and have some experience with exotic pets.
