Katie's Kitty knows that you are concerned about the welfare of your pets and home. Our pet sitters will provide your four-legged family members with exceptional care, but also believe strongly in insurance. Therefore, each of our pet sitters is insured and bonded by Business Insurers of the Carolinas, one of the most respected insurance companies for the pet sitting industry. Please contact us if you have any questions. Upon request we will be happy to provide proof of insurance.

Veterinary Care
Prior to taking care of your pet we will get information from you regarding what to do in an emergency, including the name and contact information for your personal veterinarian.
If you don't have a veterinarian, we invite you to consider. Dr. Attas of City Pets. Dr. Attas and the staff of City Pets come highly recommended to us. City Pets was founded in 1992 by veterinarian Dr. Amy Attas with the goal of providing quality healthcare to animals in the comfort of their own homes. Many of the procedures that are typically conducted in a veterinary office (including annual physicals and the related administering of vaccinations and the collection of blood, urine and/or fecal samples) can be performed equally well - by qualified veterinarians and veterinary technicians - at home.
This information may prove especially helpful to our clients who have told us that bringing their cat or dog to the local vet has invariably proven traumatic to the animal (due to his or her inherent resistance to going). Please keep in mind that, as explained on their website, a "house call" generally costs more than a typical office visit (as transportation fees are factored into the equation).
For more information, please call Peter at 212-288-5712 or visit the City Pets website.
