Our Rates

Our rates are based on a variety of factors including type of service required, duration of stay and the individual needs & attention of the animal. All services are customized to meet your requirements. We offer substantial discounts for long-term cat boarding and dog boarding. We provide daily email updates, and observe all dietary and health requirements.

At Katie's Kitty our rates are all-inclusive. We never charge for initial meetings (whether in your home or in one of our host homes) key pick up, key drop off, litter cleaning and we never charge extra for holidays, weekends or last minute emergencies - because we know this is when you need our services the most. For pet sitting in your home we require very little notice. Please call us for a quote.

Our Services

Katie’s Kitty provides two types of pet care in New York City:

• Pet care in our private host family homes
• Pet care in your home

Regardless of which service you choose, we strive to give you and your pet the best service possible. You will meet with your pet sitter before the first pet sitting assignment to discuss your pet’s needs, such as food, medication, exercise, playtime, etc. and tailor the services to you and your pet’s. needs.

Pet care in our private host homes - No cages ever!

Katie's Kitty is the perfect alternative to caged boarding. Since we are not a boarding house or a kennel, we are able to utilize our network of private pet sitter homes across Manhattan and Brooklyn to match your pet with the perfect host home. Your pet will stay in our pet sitter’s home and receive care and affection while you’re away.

Our private home pet sitting is available for cats, dogs, and exotics.

• We will feed your pet according to his or her schedule, with the food you normally feed (we ask that you bring enough food to last while you’re gone)
• We do not double up without the consent of the client, so unless you give us permission your pet will be the only guest in the home.
• We never board a cat in a home with a cat, unless specifically requested.

About our host family homes in NYC:

• All of our sitter homes are pet safe, complete with screens on all windows.
• All of our dog boarders work from home, assuring round the clock supervision and attention.
• Complimentary play dates included on all boarding requests!

Pet care in your home:

This option is available for pet owners who would rather have their cat or dog stay in their own home. Our pet sitters will visit your home once or twice per day to provide care and comfort to your pet.

• This includes a full half an hour of our sitters undivided attention on your cat.
• During each visit the litter box will be scooped, water bowls will be cleaned and refilled, and food dishes filled according to your instructions.
• Your pet will receive plenty of love and affection.
• Special instructions will be attended to. This may be such things as providing medication to your pets, turning lights off/on, etc..

Dog Walking:

• For dog walking below 23rd Street in Manhattan we highly recommend Downtown Pets.

Sleepovers:

• One of our loving pet sitters will come to your home and stay overnight with your pet.
• Your pet will receive plenty of love and affection.
• Special instructions will be attended to. This may be such things as providing medication to your pets, turning lights off/on, etc..
