Katie's Kitty of New York City is an exclusive boutique style pet sitting company on
the Upper
East Side of Manhattan. We offer pet sitting in your home and boarding
for dogs and cats in our many host family homes throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.
We also provide private cat and dog boarding in our New York City host family homes through Peter's Pets, a division of Katie's Kitty. The boarding services offered by Peter's Pets is a great alternative to New York boarding kennels. We usually board one pet in each home and rather than using cages, your pet will have free run of the home, and have bed privileges. Most of our pet sitters work from home, assuring round the clock supervision for your pet. All sitters are bonded and insured.

We offer a very unique and incomparable boarding service in more than 35 loving "host family homes" in Manhattan. We are dedicated to the happiness and well being of cats and dogs. Katie's Kitty will make special arrangements for your pet that far surpass what's offered in a traditional NYC kennel.
Our Pet Sitters are Carefully Selected
We carefully pre-screen every pet sitter before they are invited to join our network of host family homes. Every home is available to be seen by appointment before you make your decision. In most cases, your animal will be boarded alone (a few of our pet sitters have their own cat or dog and, in those instances, we disclose that to you prior to making arrangements so that you know your animal will be in the company of another). For the purpose of putting you at ease, we invite you to bring your pet to one of our host family homes for a free play date, so that you, your pet, and the sitter can become acquainted before arrangements are finalized.
We are Bonded and Insured
All of our pet sitters are insured and bonded and we carefully pre-screen every pet sitter before they are invited to join our network of host family homes. Done properly, pet sitting requires the utmost in care giving, ethics, attention to detail, diligence and responsibility. The roster of persons who work for us is eclectic and includes professionals who do it as much for the love of animals as for any other reason. Among the ranks of our dedicated staff are nurses, journalists, teachers, social workers, stay-at-home moms, veterinary technicians, administrative assistants and graduate students.
Our homes offer specialized care for
the unique needs of your pet. dogs and
cats that are: very young, very old or"medically frail", will receive
experienced personalized and
loving care all day and all night.
